Once you're an ETP member you are welcome to attend as many playgroup sessions as you like (click here to find out about becoming a member). ETP is a safe and welcoming space for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and their parents and carers.
Our dedicated venue offers a wide range of play experiences to suit young children from the ages of 0 to 5 years. And we haven't forgotten about the mums, dads, grandparents and carers! With tea and coffee supplies in our kitchen with fridge and microwave, comfy couches and a fenced outdoor area, playgroup is also a wonderful space for us to relax and enjoy some adult conversation.
Playgroup Sessions
The sessions are informal and run by you! Parents stay with their children at playgroup, giving us a chance to build friendships and connect over shared parenting experiences. Daily session times are listed here.
The successful day-to-day running of our playgroup is solely thanks to our members. We don't have a formal duty roster, instead we all do our bit to help make ETP the fabulous resource that it is! For more information, please refer to the ETP Policy and Procedures document.
Here are some examples of how you can help out, or you can chat with a committee member if you're unsure:
- Join the ETP committee
- Wash and put away dishes
- Refill paint pots or make playdough
- Tidy up after your child during the session
- Help clean up by taking out the bins, sweeping, vacuuming
Working Bees
All members participate in a least one weekend working bee each year to help ensure the playgroup is kept clean and in good condition. Your support ensures our fees are kept as low as possible. Other options, such as washing or mending dress ups, make it easier for everyone to contribute. Annual working bee dates are listed here.
ETP Committee
The ETP committee forms each year to oversee the smooth operation of the playgroup. The committee is made up of volunteer members.
